Unfortunately, I haven’t put out a new episode since last October. Not to make any excuses, but there was a series of unfortunate events that occurred that kept me away from the microphone. Also, there’s the fact that all my recording equipment had to be put away so I would have room to work from home for several weeks. Not as fun as it sounds, happy to be back in the office again.
For the last few days, I’ve been getting things in order so I can start producing episodes again. Unfortunately -- there’s that word again -- I’m starting from scratch. I scrapped all the plans I made in at the beginning of the year and I’m starting over. So, I’ve been digging though all my notes again, and getting things organized into a new Notion workbook; I’ve been setting up some new tasks lists and organizing a new workflow in Trello; and I’ve been moving all my production files, notes, and scripts into Microsoft Office.
I think the biggest hurdle will be getting back into writing again. Until this post, I hadn’t written besides code and anything longer than a tweet since February.
I’m aiming for a new episode to be out by mid-June. To help keep everyone in the loop I’ll be making my Trello board public.
